Wow where as the year gone? As you can probably tell I’ve not done a Upvc repair Liverpool news blast update in a while but I’ve a busy window door fixer person this year and also taken on my first crew member my brother Thomas full time so its kept be busy.
Any way here is a quick look at some examples of jobs / replacements and repairs we have been doing. Hope you enjoy.
Replacement Upvc Window glass.
As you can see this job started with a customer having problems with a upvc window glass unit which has ‘blown’ or ‘Misted’. This happens when the seal in the double glazed unit perishes and no longer makes a sufficient seal causing the glass to collect condensation inside in between the glass pains. The best way to rectify this problem is to replace the unit in question.
Broken Upvc door locking mechanism problems.
What happens when you front door decides it would like to stay locked shut? A call to Upvc repair is in order just like this customer did. The problem started because the door in question had become out of alignment for some time making the door take unneeded extra wear and in this case decide to lock and become seized shut.
The fix for this door meant that the door need a new locking gearbox to have the locking function working to its tip top potential. As well as the door needing a new locking gear box the door had to be re-positioned properly to allow the new gearbox to have the mechanism run properly while the door was shut. So with in two shakes the door was re-positioned as back to way it was when it was newly installed all those years ago.
