Hello Richard here again from Upvc Repair Liverpool. Its a new year and its not all gone to plan here at Upvc repair Liverpool as I had my van broken into on the 4th of January, I had all my tools stolen and some parts of stock that I carry in the van for quick jobs which involve changing over a upvc lock cylinder “barrel” or a small windows hinges. But I cant dwell on the past and when something happens like this you have to just take stock, move on and not let it set me back anymore than it has done.

On this job the centre locking gear box had failed locking the Upvc door solid, so we opened the door removed the broken locking mechanism to replace the centre gear box and fitted a new one. This problem is very common and we always use genuine parts to replace you broken locking mechanisms.
On his property the owners wanted a new set of upvc door handles because the old handle set had become loose from were the plastic washer that holds the handle part of the handle set to the face plate had become perished. we always use quality upvc door handles when we do replacments as they last longer than cheaper options.
