Welcome to Upvc Repair Liverpool’s June Update.
June has been on of those busy months yet again at Upvc Repair Liverpool, With the feelings of summer holidays getting closer, the slight rise in temperature and also the whole referendum vote and how will that turn out?
So without further a do, let’s have a look at some of the jobs I remembered to photograph, and give you a better idea of what I repair and fix.
New Upvc door handle replacement.

As you can see this door handle has seen better days and its washer that holds the handle in place has snapped away. you also may notice that I forgot to take a photo of the new handle in place but you will just have to trust it looked really good and everything.
Replacement window gearboxes, anybody?
As you can see, this window gearbox was just a little bit broken, so kind of needed replacing. When a window locking mechanism gearbox breaks, nine times out of ten one side of the window will remain locked shut and the handle will move up and down but not unlock the window. This is because the broken gearbox will not retract the rod, which is now in the frame of the locked window. A new gearbox was fitted and now we are happy to report the window is now working like a champ again.
Nice new window hinges fitted, Anyone?
